JumpStart International began in 2003 in Iraq, with a vision to empower Iraqis through rebuilding projects.
Today, JumpStart advances economic and civil society development through technology.
JumpStart supports Tbilisi-based JumpStart Georgia, which launched in 2009 and created the first complete, open set of map data for the Republic of Georgia.
Building on the mapping success, JumpStart Georgia now works to make data easy to understand through analysis and visualizations. As data journalist pioneers in the South Caucasus, JumpStart Georgia helps people and organizations learn how to use code, data and design to make complex issues easy to grasp.
